This project was to rebrand plumbing and heating company, Portsdean Heating which is a family-run business based in Fareham. The company did not have a clear brand identity and used a character to promote themselves, therefore the brief was to create a modernised brand identity that could be rolled-out to create consistent promotional materials. The client provided a very open brief which gave the opportunity to be creative and explore many design routes.
I approached the rebrand by researching competitors, creating a moodboard of ideas and producing two initial design routes which were presented to the client. Once the route was chosen, developments to the identity were made, the colour palette was finalised and a new identity was complete. The new logo included a motif based off the initial letter of 'Portsdean' and incorporated a u-bend pipe style to link with the plumbing and heating business.
Once the rebrand was complete, this was rolled-out on all business promotional materials, ranging from business cards and stationary to delivery forms and the van wraps.
